Build onthe hive.

HivedIn has a REST API and an MCP server. Plug it into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or your own scripts. Same rules as the app: every post is reviewed, and nothing goes live without a person.

    Make a key

    In HivedIn, open Settings, then API & MCP. A key acts as you, with your role, in your hive.

    Call the API

    Send the key as a Bearer token. Every answer is JSON, with the result in data.

    Or connect MCP

    Add HivedIn to Claude or ChatGPT as a connector. It gets the same actions as tools.

MCP server

Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in. In Claude or ChatGPT, add it as a custom connector, log in and press Allow. In Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code, use a key.

Every action

Each one is a REST endpoint and an MCP tool with the same name. Calls marked AI count toward the monthly caps: 30 posts and 100 comment ideas per person.

Posts assigned to people, newest first. Status runs assigned, draft, review, ready, published, performance. People who can see everyone's content may pass scope=all; everyone else sees their own.

Write the draft

Write (or rewrite) the draft for one of your assignments, in your voice, grounded in the hive's knowledge. A first draft counts toward your 30 posts a month. A rewrite keeps the old version in history.

Save edits to a draft

Save your own edit of the hook, body and hashtags as a new version. Editing an approved draft sends it back to review.

Approve a draft or ask for changes

For reviewers. Approve the draft so the author can post it, or send it back with a note. Pass the revision you read so a newer edit is never approved by mistake.

After you post an approved draft on LinkedIn, record its link. This scores the post's first Nectar and starts tracking its numbers.

Up to three comments in your voice for someone else's LinkedIn post, each with the pattern used and the reaction to leave first. Pass the post text, or its link if your LinkedIn is connected. Counts toward 100 suggestions a month. HivedIn never posts for you.

Limits

  • 120 requests a minute per key.
  • 30 posts a month per person.
  • 100 comment ideas a month per person.
  • Up to 5 keys per person.

HivedIn never posts to LinkedIn for you. Not from the app, not from the API.
